Andrea Navedo is an American actress who is also a published author. Her first appearance was in soaps, such as One Life to Live and Guiding Light. In later times, she appeared in a various support roles. Andrea Navedo (born 10 October 1978 in the Bronx area of New York) is an American actress and singer. Navedo began her acting career by playing actresses in soap operas for daytime TV. She starred in the ABC soap opera One Life to Live as Linda Soto from 1995 to 1997. The role was a part of Guiding Light, a CBS soap-opera that aired on CBS between 1999 and 2000. She played Theresa Sandoval. Her career began as a film actress with a role of Girl 6 (1996), then she starred on seasons of New York Undercover (1997) and The District. In 2001, Navedo was a co-star in the action Double Take. Double Take and the following year, in the drama film Washington Heights. Navedo played a recurring actor in the NBC drama show Law & Order between 2001 to 2004, as Detective Ana Cordova. In the following season, he played Detective Ana Cordova in Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages. Navedo was also in a variety of films, including El Cantante and Remember Me. Navedo was also a recurring characters for Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2011-2013) as well as How to Make It in America Golden Boy. Superfast! was her first film.
